JAMMU, Sept 6: Cambridge International School, Purkhoo Camp, Domana, Jammu held a programme, symbolizing the transfer of leadership to the newly elected student council. The event was graced by chief guest Er. Vidhi S. Singh, chairman of CIS Jammu, guest of honour Shivdev Singh Jamwal, vice-chairman, and Er. Renu Bangroo, managing director. They were welcomed with floral felicitations, followed by the lighting of the lamp and a Saraswati Vandana, invoking blessings for the occasion.
The newly elected School Council made a grand entrance, confidently taking the stage in ceremonial attire. Principal Pooja Salathia led the council members through the Oath Ceremony, urging them to uphold the school’s values with integrity and dedication. The Head Boy and Head Girl gave inspiring speeches, expressing gratitude and their vision for fostering a positive school environment.
The ceremony featured a musical performance by talented students, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. Dignitaries delivered motivational speeches, encouraging the student leaders to embrace their responsibilities with enthusiasm.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice-Principal Rajni Malhotra, who acknowledged everyone involved in the success of the ceremony. The Investiture Ceremony highlighted the school’s commitment to nurturing future leaders.
