JAMMU, Apr 16: The Sports Week of KC College of Education got underway in the College premises, here today.
The Principal of the College, OP Sharma declared the meet open in a well attended function.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sharma said that sports and games are as important as education, because it is sports which makes a sportsperson physically, mentally, emotionally and intellectually fit to achieve goals.
The event was organized by Rajan Suri, convener Sports Committee alongwith other members including Sneh Khanna, Ruchika Chib and Rohani Sharma.
On day-1, badminton matches were held with great enthusiasm.
