SAMBA, Sept 18: J&K BJP vice president and Party candidate from Samba Constituency, Surjeet Singh Slathia here today asserted that for the first time Jammu will play a big role in the formation of Government in J&K.
While campaigning, Slathia said that all this has become possible after the abrogation of Article 370 and due to the vision of PM Modi.
He addressed election meetings at village Chak Manga Gujjran, Madera, Muthi Khurd, Chann Kanna, Treli, Chann Malagran, Ghagwal Badyal Mohalla, Sohanda, Ward numbers 6 and 8 in Samba.
Slathia described the BJP as a mass movement, saying the Party stands for empowerment of the people and progress of J&K with a mission to make it a proud part of the country’s growth trajectory.
Referring to the transformation in J&K during the last four years, he said priority is being accorded to holistic development, encouraging large scale investment with major focus on restoring peace.
“BJP is committed to address the issues of youth, marginalized and weaker sections besides women,” he maintained.
