JAMMU, Sept 19: The Inter District Division Level Cricket U-19 Girls’ tournament organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) District Jammu commenced at Khel Gaon Nagrota, here today.
This tournament aims to provide a platform for young talent to shine, with around 80 participants drawn from six districts of Jammu Division. The primary goal is to identify and select the best talent for further competitions.
The event is being conducted by experienced officials, including Sandeepan Sharma, Sat Paul Singh, Vikram Dogra and others. In the first match, District Kishtwar defeated District Samba by 8 wickets. Kishtwar’s Palvi scored 9 runs. In the second match, District Udhampur triumphed over District Kathua by 10 wickets, with Rasho and Kashish being the top scorers. The first semi-final saw District Doda beat District Udhampur by 22 runs, with Kirti and Hajra leading Doda’s score.
