JAMMU, Sept 21: Exuding confidence that his party will form the Government in J&K UT on its own, BJP national spokesperson, R P Singh today said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will get massive mandate from Jammu region during the ensuing Assembly poll and it will also open account in Kashmir valley this time.

At an informal chat with reporters here, today he said BJP has full faith and trust on the electorate of Jammu region they will give a massive mandate to party and stamp the pro people policies and programmes of Narendra Modi Government who has given a new hope to the people of UT who have undergone through a worst phase of their lives during over three decade long turmoil.
The people of Jammu region are solidly with the party and PM Modi who restored peace in the UT. “Gone are the days when there were hartals, strikes and stone pelting,. The markets remain open up to late night hours in Srinagar city. It was not possible earlier to stroll in Lal Chowk, Srinagar openly that too during evening hours but everything has changed now. The credit for the same goes to BJP and PM Narendra Modi, Singh said.
He said BJP has intensified its campaign in the UT with Union Home Minister, Amit Shah addressing five rallies today. He will also address various rallies tomorrow to seek support for party candidates for a better and prosperous future of the people of UT who have seen a lot of bloodshed due to wrong policies of dynastic parties.
In response to a question on the recent statement of former Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, he said the NC leader is in desperation and he gives statements out of his frustration.
He said Omar Abdullah will lose election from both the seats in Kashmir hence he is in desperation which is reflected by his statements.
In response to another question, he said the people of the UT have to decide whether they will support the alliance which has Pakistani backing or back those for whom nation is above all.
