JAMMU, Sept 23: Four exceptional Rollball players from Jammu and Kashmir-Khushi Gupta, Antra Mahajan, Subhida Sareen and Hiteshwar Singh were honoured by National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Union Health Minister JP Nadda at an event in Jammu.
This recognition underscores the growing prominence of Rollball in the region and the dedication of its athletes.
During the event, the players shared insights about the current sports landscape, particularly the development of Rollball. They emphasized the need for Rollball’s inclusion in the list of games prescribed under SO 12 of 2022, which would enhance visibility and opportunities for the sport. Nadda expressed his appreciation for the players’ achievements and acknowledged their commitment to the sport.
Officials noted that this acknowledgment not only motivates the players but also boosts the profile of Rollball in Jammu and Kashmir, inspiring more young athletes to engage in this dynamic sport.
