Manmohan Singh vows to tackle drug menace, crime in Jammu West

JAMMU, Sept 24: Congress candidate for Jammu West, Thakur Manmohan Singh, addressed a public meeting in Ranjit Pura, highlighting pressing local issues such as the drug menace, sand mafia, and rising crime linked to the exploitation of youth for financial gains.
Singh questioned the BJP Government’s alleged failure to curb these problems and assured voters that, if elected, he would take swift action to address these concerns.
Singh emphasized giving local youth priority in employment and pledged to resolve the area’s water supply issues. He also promised farmers subsidized electricity rates.
Criticizing the BJP Government for its alleged inability to effectively combat the drug crisis, Singh assured the public that his focus on youth support and regional development would create lasting change.
