JAMMU, Sept 24: General Secretary of J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta here today released Domestic Calendar 2024-25 under the guidance of Association president, Anil Gupta, who has created new idea to allot these categories Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior UT championship in Boys and Girls section to three districts instead of one to conduct the championship with collaboration of J&K Sports Council in the presence of Surinder Mohan, Technical Director, Yuva Kabaddi Series (J&K and Ladakh), Anil Modi, treasurer and S.S Gill, Technical Director of Association.
The Ganderbal district Kabaddi Association will host district Kabaddi championship from October 4 to 5; Srinagar district from October 6 to 7; Anantnag from October 11 to 13; Pulwama from October 14 to 16; Budgam from October 17 to 19; Baramullah from October 10 to 12; Jammu from October 14 to 16; Poonch from October 23 to 25; Kathua from October 26 to 27; Rajouri from October 28 to 30; Udhampur from October 29 to 31 and Samba from October 22 to 24.
Kuldeep Kumar Gupta further said after the completion of all the District Kabaddi Championship, Srinagar District Kabaddi Association will host Sub Junior UT Kabaddi Championship (Boys and Girls) Section, Udhampur District Kabaddi Association will host Junior UT Kabaddi Championship (Boys and Girls) Section and Poonch district Kabbadi Association will host Senior UT Kabaddi Championship (Men and Women) section before the conduct of National Kabaddi Championships.
Moreover the Association has made appointments and nominated Radha Bakshi as convener for Jammu District, Krishan Singh, president Samba District Kabaddi Association, nominated for Kathua District, Sanjit Kumar, secretary Jammu District Kabaddi Association nominated for Udhampur District, Bashrat Khan, chairman Poonch District Kabaddi Association, nominated for Rajouri District, Mohd. Yakoob, secretary Kathua District Kabaddi Association, nominated for Samba District, Sushil Jamwal, chairman Rajouri District Kabaddi Association, nominated for Poonch District, Nazir Ahmad Mir, secretary Budgam District Kabaddi Association, nominated for Srinagar District, G.M Ganai, chairman Pulwama District Kabaddi Association, nominated for Anantnag District, Mohd Shafi, chairman Gandharbal District Kabaddi Association, nominated for Baramulla District, Gulzar Ahmad, secretary Srinagar District Kabaddi Association, nominated for Budgam District, A.R Padder, chairman Anantnag District Kabaddi Association, nominated for Pulwama District and M.S Baba, president Baramulla District Kabaddi Association, nominated for Gandharbal District.
The Association has also appointed Observers with Sarwant Singh Gill, Technical Director J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association nominated for Junior UT Kabaddi Championship at Udhampur, Anil Modi, treasurer nominated for Senior UT Kabaddi Championship at Poonch and Surinder Mohan, Technical Director Yuva Kabaddi Series J&K and Ladakh, nominated for Sub-Junior UT Kabaddi Championship at Srinagar.
