Rotary Club, Alexander School hold ‘Nation Builders Award Ceremony’

JAMMU, Sept 27: The Rotary Club, in collaboration with Alexander Memorial School, hosted the “Nation Builders Award Ceremony” today at the Scottish Hall of Alexander Memorial School in Jammu.
Dr. Ritu Singh was the chief guest, while Johnny William, former IGP and president of Alexander Memorial Educational Society, served as the guest of honour. Dr. Anita Sharma, founder of Maven Vibes, attended as the special guest.
The ceremony commenced with a prayer led by Marshlaw Khokhar, Vice Principal of Alexander Memorial School, followed by a welcoming address from Sanjeev Vaid, Executive Secretary of Rotary Club Jammu City, who provided a brief introduction to the proceedings. Dr. Shivangi Gupta, President of the Rotary Club, also delivered a report on the club’s activities.
During the ceremony, several educators were honored with the “Nation Builders Award” for their contributions to education and social causes, including Prabha Jain, Veena Handa, Esther William, Dominic, Shashi Sharma, Ruchi Chabra, Neeru Puri, Satwinder Saini, Charanjit Kaur, Renu Anthony, Pummy, Shweta and Sarita.
The event also featured a Nukkad Natak on the life of Maharaja Hari Singh, performed by the school students, which received great appreciation from the audience.
In her address, Dr. Ritu Singh praised the Rotary Club for their initiatives and congratulated the awardees for their impactful contributions to education. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of mementos to dignitaries and a vote of thanks by Esther William.
