VC reviews functioning of JU Administration

JAMMU, July 3: To take first hand stock of the working conditions, Vice Chancellor, Jammu University, Prof Mohan Pal Singh Ishar, today reviewed the functioning of various sections and offices of the JU Administration.
The aim of the visit to different sections was to take first hand stock of the working conditions prevailing in JU Administration sections and to take feed back with regard to various initiatives being taken by the administration to improve the efficiency of the work force of the institution.
Vice Chancellor during his visit inspected various sections of administration wing including office of Dean Academic Affairs and Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance (DIQA), besides Accounts and Budget section.
Prof Ishar interacted with the branch officers, section officers, senior assistants, junior assistants and other staff and reviewed the present situation.
Keeping in view the present hot weather conditions, Prof Ishar directed Executive Engineer and Deputy Registrar (Services) to provide water coolers and other necessary facilities immediately for the faculty working out there.
Prof Ishar was accompanied by Prof RD Sharma, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof Naresh Padha, Registrar, Prof Manoj Dhar, Controller of Examination, Dr Meenakshi Kilam, Director, DIQA , Jaikumar Sharma, OSD to Vice-Chancellor, Sanjeev Mahajan, Joint Registrar, CDC, Neeraj Sharma, OSD, Finance, Suresh Sharma, Executive Engineer, Sunil Sahi, President, JUNTEU and other officials.
