Jodhamal students bag six medals at CBSE North Zone Skating C’ship

JAMMU, Sept 29: Jodhamal Public School’s Roller-Skating team made a spectacular mark at the recently concluded CBSE North Zone Roller Skating Championship in Ambala. Demonstrating outstanding talent and sportsmanship, the young athletes secured six medals amidst fierce competition, further enhancing the school’s reputation in the sports arena.
Among the shining stars was Naisha Verma, who clinched a Gold Medal in the 1000m race. Tabish Haider Chib also delivered an impressive performance, securing a Gold Medal in the 1000m race and a Silver Medal in the 500m race. Pavit Gupta won a Silver Medal in the 1-lap road race and a Bronze Medal in the 500m race, while Aarav Sharma earned a Bronze Medal in the 1-lap road race.
These exceptional athletes-Naisha Verma, Tabish Haider Chib and Pavit Gupta-have qualified for the upcoming Skating Nationals, which will be held in Karnataka. Their accomplishments are a testament to the rigorous training provided by coaches Kamal Anand and Ritish, who played an integral role in their success.
