JAMMU, Oct 4: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Jammu, concluded the Inter Zonal District Level U-19 Boys Basketball Competition at MA Stadium, Jammu. Organized under the leadership of Director General Youth Services and Sports J&K UT, Rajinder Singh Tara (JKAS), and Joint Director Ved Parkash (JKAS), the event aimed to identify top talent for future competitions.
Around 60 participants from various private and Government schools across Jammu District took part. In the closely contested final, Zone Jammu secured the title by defeating Zone Miran Sahib with a narrow 28-26 win.
In the semi-finals, Zone Jammu edged out Zone Satwari by 19-17, while Zone Miran Sahib dominated Zone Akhnoor by 28-8. The event concluded with I/C DYSSO Jammu, Harvinder Kour, distributing medals and certificates, encouraging participants to continue playing with team spirit and dedication
