JAMMU, Oct 10: After meeting the requirements established by the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) and gaining fundamental knowledge and skills to understand, conduct and design strength and conditioning training programmes to physically prepare and improve the performance of athletes across a wide range of sports, the experienced trainer of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), Amit Bargotra has been awarded the certificate of accreditation and the title Level One Strength and Conditioning Coach by ASCA.
The certificate of accreditation was awarded to him on October 9 which will be valid up to September 30, 2026.
Amit is the Trainer of JKCA’s U-19 Women’s team for the ongoing season of 2024-25 and has the distinction of working with JKCA Senior Men’s Ranji Trophy team, Men’s U-23 team and Men’s U-16 team.
While working for the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association, this hardworking trainer has the honour of giving good results at all levels.
“This accreditation has added more responsibility and I will leave no stone unturned to do my job in a most befitting manner and give better results,” said Bargotra after receiving the accreditation certificate.
He thanked Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association for providing him this opportunity and also extended thanks to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) Bengaluru and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
