POONCH, Apr 26: On the basis of specific reports, CEO Poonch Abdul Hamid Fani, paid surprise visit to Middle School Upper Kanuyian and found the school closed.
Ajay Kumar Teacher and Shabir Ahmed Teacher reported in the school after 1:00 pm. They were on duty for lifting of free supply of text books. The scrutiny of punctuality register revealed that Manjeet Kour Master, Mohd Shabir Teacher, Ashok Kumar Teacher and Abdul Majeed Teacher were absent from their duty. Even some spaces of previous working days were found kept blank on the punctuality register. The ZEO Kanuyian was directed to deduct salary of the negligent officials for the days they remained absent from their duty.
