Rasikh’s inclusion in India-A to spur aspiring cricketers: Brig Gupta

JAMMU, Oct 14: Rasikh Salam’s inclusion in India -A team will motivate and spur other aspiring cricketers from Jammu and Kashmir for a better and enhanced performance in the ongoing national matches to draw the attention of national selectors.
This was stated by Brig Anil Gupta, Member-Administration JKCA while complimenting Rasikh for his selection in India- A team. “Rasikh Salam, a member of Jammu and Kashmir Ranji Trophy team and Delhi Capitals player in Indian Premier League (IPL) has been chosen to play for India-A in the upcoming Emerging Asia Cup. He is a special talent and a class act when on song. It is a proud moment for the entire Union Territory of J&K. We hope he does well at the international scene,” maintained Brig Gupta.
Brig Gupta said that Rasikh has been selected in India A team which includes Tilak Verma (Captain), Abhishek Sharma (VC), Prabhsimran Singh (WK), Nishant Sindhu, Ramandeep Singh, Nehal Wadhera, Ayush Badoni, Anuj Rawat (WK), Sai Kishore, Hrithik Shokeen, Rahul Chahar, Vaibhav Arora, Anshul Kamboj, Aquib Khan and Rasikh Salam.
Meanwhile, as per reports, Sunil Kumar has been selected as a replacement for Rasikh Salam in the JKCA Ranji Trophy squad.
