SRINAGAR, Oct 14: The 5th Jammu and Kashmir UT Yogasana Sports Championship 2024-2025, organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Yogasana Sports Association in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, concluded at the Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex in Srinagar.
The championship featured competitions across Sub-Junior, Junior, and Senior categories for both boys and girls, attracting a large number of enthusiastic spectators. Raqib Rasool, General Secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir Yogasana Sports Association, along with other officials, expressed satisfaction with the event’s success.
Chief Guest, Ehsan Pardesi, a Member of the Legislative Assembly, awarded prizes to outstanding participants, emphasizing the importance of yogasana for physical and mental well-being. Guest of honour Nuzhat Gul reiterated the Sports Council’s commitment to promoting yogasana throughout the region. Firdous Ahmad Lone from Pulwama and Toiba Nazir were named the best players of the event.
