J&K UT Taekwondo C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Oct 15: The J&K UT Taekwondo Championship 2024-25, organized by the Taekwondo Association of Jammu & Kashmir (TAJK), concluded at the J&K Sports Council Hall, Bhagwati Nagar, here today. With participation from over 150-170 athletes across nine districts, the Championship showcased immense talent in various categories.
Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Chairman of Team Jammu and BJP leader was the chief guest who inspired athletes with a message of sportsmanship and excellence. Vijay Kumar Pandoh, vice president of the Wrestling Association of Jammu & Kashmir, served as the guest of honour, applauding the participants and organizers. Ritika Slathia, Manager of the Indoor Sports Complex at Bhagwati Nagar, and Muzaffar Mir, DySP J&K Police.
The organizing team, led by Keemti Lal Jain (general secretary, TAJK), Tarsem Sharma (working president, TAJK), and other key members, ensured the smooth execution of the event. The winners were honoured with medals, celebrating the growing popularity of Taekwondo in the region.
