Sack Farooq, dismiss Omar Govt: Bhim Singh

Excelsior Correspondent
SRINAGAR, Apr 28: Chief patron of  J&K National Panthers Party Prof Bhim Singh today demanded removal of  NC leader Dr Farooq Abdullah from Union Ministry and dismissal of Omar Abdullah led Government in the Jammu and Kashmir for their ‘anti-national’ and communal statements, promoting hatred and communal conflict in the country.
Addressing a press conference here today,  the NPP leader strongly condemned both (father-son), Union Minister and J&K Chief Minister for their highly objectionable and provocative and ‘anti-national’ remarks and demanded dismissal of Omar- led Government, cancellation of Lok Sabha polls here and holding of  fresh elections under Governor Rule in J&K.
Prof Singh in his recent statement said, Omar Abdullah announced that he would go to Pakistan if  Modi becomes Prime Minister, whereas, his father Dr Farooq Abdullah, a sitting Union Minister has made a dangerous statement  saying that Kashmir shall secede from the Indian Union, if Modi becomes Prime Minister of India. Prof Singh pointed out that  an FIR has been lodged against a BJP leader in Bihar for similar remarks  on the issue.
The NPP leader accused Farooq Abdullah to stir communal passion so that he may cash it in Kashmir and Modi shall be benefitted in the rest of the country. He also reminded Farooq Abdullah that NC had opposed a Panthers Party Bill in the Legislative Assembly  which has proposed to include word “ Secular” in the J&K Constitution and this word was deliberately excluded from J&K Constitution by the National Conference.
Prof Singh said Omar Abdullah did not migrate to Pakistan when RSS and BJP leader  Atal Behari Vajpayee became Prime Minister, instead surprisingly joined the service as a junior Minister in his Cabinet. He asked Omar Abdullah to explain his conduct. Prof Singh, a senior Supreme Court lawyer expressed his shock over the silence of Election Commission of India and also alleged that not even single security personal was  provided to NPP candidate   in Anantnag. He also appealed the people to ignore boycott calls and throw out NC-Congress alliance candidates in Srinagar and Baramulla.
