JAMMU, Oct 21: The 7th edition of IDPS Chronicle, the first in-house newspaper of Jammu was released here today.
The chronicle was released by Dr Hina Shafi Bhat, Chairperson of Khadi Village, who was the chief guest during the function.
In her welcome address, Randeep Wazir, principal of the school, expressed thanks to Suminder Singh, MD Operations, for always encouraging student-driven initiatives, the editorial team and contributors for their dedication to keeping this newspaper vibrant and engaging.”
“We gathered not only to celebrate the success and longevity of this incredible platform but also to recognize the hard work, talent and dedication that have brought us to this moment. The IDPS Chronicle is much more than just a school newspaper, it’s the beating heart of student expression, a mirror to the diverse voices and creative minds of our school community,” she said.
“Over the past seven years, this newspaper has been a platform, where students’ curiosity meets creativity,” she added.
On the occasion, Neeru Sharma, a dedicated social worker from HelpAge India, who has been a pillar of support for the elderly and vulnerable through her tireless efforts, was also present.
Among others who graced the event included Chief Media Editor, Suman Pal Kour, Pankaj Handoo, Graphic Designer, Vishal Sharma, Administrator IT and Malu Sharma.
