JAMMU, Oct 22: The Netball Association of UT of Jammu and Kashmir concluded its State Championship for sub-junior categories, aimed at promoting netball at the grassroots level. The event saw participation from 11 teams in the Boys’ Sub-Junior category and 9 teams in the Girls’ Sub-Junior category, showcasing the skills and enthusiasm of young athletes.
The championship was marked by impressive performances, with the top teams in the Boys’ category securing six gold medals, while nine bronze medals were awarded in the Girls’ category. DPS Udhampur emerged victorious, lifting the overall championship trophy. Coach Sahil Sharma played a pivotal role in mentoring the players, guiding them to success.
Dr. J. C. Gupta, Pro Vice Chairman, Vivek Gupta, Managing Director and Sucheta Gupta, Director of Academics, also praised the team’s efforts. Principal Dr. Kunal Anand hailed the championship as a huge success.
