BHADERWAH Apr 29: A 10 days Adventure course for the students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Bhaderwah was organized by Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering & Winter Sports Sub Centre, Puneja Bhaderwah.
The courses are sponsored by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Jammu region.
During the 10 days Camp, the students were imparted training in rope knots, hitches, rappelling, climbing, zip wiring, river crossing, tent pitching and practical training.
The trainees were taken for local treks around Bhaderwah.
The course culminated after a colorful and entertaining programme by the participants.
The certificates and badges were awarded to the students by the chief guest, Irfan Ahmed, SDPO Bhaderwah, while Bardweswar, SHO Bhaderwah was the guest of honour.
The best student award was given to Sakshi Devi and in best techniques was given to Shivani Kotwal, while the consolation prizes went to Yuvraj Saini, Eklavya Singh, Hanisha Gupta and Omkaush Jara.
Mementoes and badges were presented to chief guest and the guest of honour on behalf of the Principal JIM&WS by M K Koul.
