JAMMU, Apr 30: Exhibition on Teaching Aids was organized in the Calliope College of Education Doomi, here today. Teaching Aids related to different teaching subjects were displayed in the exhibition.
The teachers concerned explained the importance of teaching aids in the teaching and learning process and demonstrated the art of preparing the teaching aids with the help of relevant and natural material.
The purpose of holding this type of programme was to develop creativity among pupil teachers and to develop knowledge of procedure of designing the teaching aids and the material to be used should be relevant to the subject to be taught and to make the lesson comprehensive and meaningful.
The programme was organized under the guidance and supervision of Vijay Laxmi and Sushma Kumari.
The Principal of the College, Sunita Pandita also highlighted the importance of teaching aids.
All the faculty members and students were present on the occasion.
