Jammu District Roller ‘Speed’ Skating C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Oct 26: The Jammu District Roller Skating Championship (Speed) concluded at M.A Stadium Skating Rink, here today, organized by the J&K Roller Skating Association. The two-day event showcased thrilling performances from skaters across various age groups.
The chief guest for the closing ceremony was MLA Bahu,Vikram Randhawa, who awarded medals to the winners. Some of the results of the competitions were 5-7 years boys’ loose ball bearing tenacity skates; the gold medal was clinched by Mohd. Huzaif, followed by Adhiraj with silver and a bronze shared by Mohd. Uzain and Viraj Singh. In the girls’ category, Inaaya took silver and Savreen Kour won bronze. In the 7-9 years boys’ category, bronze went to Atharv, while Kyra secured silver and Sharnya took bronze in the girls’ event.
In the 9-11 years category, Ajay won gold, Aarav took silver, and Vansh earned bronze among boys. In the Inline Jonex 7-9 years boys’ category, Vedansh won gold, Vaidik took silver, and Aadit earned bronze. In the girls’ event, Kyra took silver and Aahana won bronze. The 500 meter & 1000 meter Quad Professional Skates for 5-7 years boys featured Kavish winning two gold medals, while Sehraj claimed two silver and Ransher Wazir won two bronze medals. In the girls’ category, Anshika achieved two golds, while Aanya won silver and a bronze.
In the 14-17 years boys’ category, Udhay claimed gold, Abhinav took silver, and Arshjoot earned bronze. In the girls’ event, Pratyaksha secured gold, Sanvi took silver, and Sumukhi earned two bronze medals. For the Above 17 years boys, Rajveer clinched two golds, while Kartikeya Puri won two silver and Ruhaan and Samar each secured a bronze. In the girls’ category, Diya won two silvers and Nisha secured two bronzes.
In the 500 meter & 1000 meter Inline Professional Skates for 5-7 years boys, Shivaay bagged bronze, Shivoham took silver, and Chahit Singh won two bronze medals. In the girls’ category, Haneet Kour earned two bronze medals.
