JAMMU, Apr 30: Indian Reserve Police (IRP) of 17 Battalion presented school uniforms, sports kit, volleyball kit, badminton kits, water cooler and one computer set to the school.
IG IRP, P R Manhas was the chief guest on the occasion.
97 children belonging to poor/below poverty line families under Civic Action Programme (CAP) at Government High School, Taloor in Samba.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were DIG IRP Jammu-South, Vijay Singh Sambyal; Commandant of IRP17 Bn, Roop Raj Bhagat, Deputy Commandant of 17 Bn, B K Bakshi; DSP 17 Bn Nawaaz, besides Chief Education Officer Samba, ZEO Samba, Sarpanchs and Panchs.
