JAMMU, Oct 31: MIER College of Education has entered into a landmark partnership with the Composite Regional Centre (CRC) Jammu by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance special education in the region. This collaboration aims to promote inclusive education through shared research, training, and outreach programs designed to support individuals with disabilities.
Under the MoU, both institutions will organize joint workshops, seminars and awareness programs to advocate for inclusive practices, improving services and opportunities for differently abled individuals. This partnership will also focus on professional development, empowering educators with advanced skills in inclusive teaching methodologies to better integrate special education practices into mainstream education.
MIER College acknowledges Dr. Rohnika Sharma, Director of CRC Jammu, for her instrumental role in enabling this collaboration, which represents a key step towards strengthening the special education framework across Jammu and beyond. Together, MIER College and CRC Jammu are committed to enriching the educational landscape by fostering inclusive and equitable learning environments for all.
