SRINAGAR, Nov 10: Dilbagh Singh will play defending champion Inayat Jehangir in the final of the Srinagar Open Tennis Championship 2024 after both won their semi-final matches in straight sets, here today.
Singh defeated last year’s runner-up Haider Hussain by 7-5, 6-2 in a match lasted under two hours, dominating the second set after a tight first. Jehangir, the defending champion, beat Rouf Ahmad by 6-2, 6-2, though Ahmad put up a strong fight. The singles event will conclude with the final match, followed by the doubles tournament next weekend.
