SRINAGAR, Nov 13: Fuzail Bhat claimed the sub-junior title in the ongoing 29th District Srinagar Billiards and Snooker Championship after defeating Moazam Iqbal in the final at Bakshi Stadium, here today. The final match saw Fuzail showcase his skills, winning by scores of 41-34, 24-64, and 50-23.
Earlier in the semifinals, Moazam Iqbal triumphed over Mustaqeem Hussain by 52-47 and 62-51-to secure his place in the final.
The sub-junior category featured eight players, and the competition highlighted the emerging talent in the region. The senior category matches will begin tomorrow, and the championship is set to continue over the coming days, offering a platform to showcase the growing talent in the area’s Billiards and Snooker community.
