LAHORE, Nov 13:
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has reached out to the BCCI for clarification following concerns raised by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) regarding India’s refusal to visit Pakistan for the upcoming 2025 Champions Trophy.
The ICC has got active after the PCB sent a formal communication to the global cricket managing body raising questions about India’s stance on a hybrid model for the tournament, Pakistan’s Express tribune reported.
Sources confirm that the PCB has been actively engaging with other cricket boards, informing them of the Indian board’s position, which has placed the ICC in a challenging position. Pakistan is opposed to the hybrid model, and has expressed dissatisfaction with the current situation, further complicating matters for the governing body. (UNI)
