JAMMU, May 6: The Institution of Engineers (India), Jammu Local Centre today inaugurated Technician’s Chapter for the term 2014–2016.
The members of the Executive Committee of Jammu Local Centre including Er Rajinder Singh, FIE, Chairman, Er Braj B Sharma, FIE, immediate Past Chairman and Er Mohinder Singh, MIE, Secretary were present at the time of promulgation of Technician’s Chapter.
It is worthwhile to mention here that such a chapter has been formed for the first time in Jammu Local Centre. This way, it was a historic occasion for Jammu Local Centre. Pertinently, Er Provin Bhat, AMIE has coordinated with the AMIE Students and the Secretary of Jammu Local Centre in formation of this chapter.
Robin Parihar was elected as Chairman and Govind Kumar was elected as Secretary of this chapter for the term 2014–2016.
Other members of the Committee of Technician’s Chapter will be Ashwani Kumar, Sunny Sharma, Muzaffar Wani, Dev Brat Dubey, Kapil Dev Singh, Sumit Sharma, Sahibjeet Singh, Shahnwaz, Niaz Ahamed, Vijay Singh and Kishore Singh.
Provin Bhat, AMIE was unanimously elected as Convener of this Technician’s Chapter.
After inauguration of this chapter, Er Mohinder Singh, MIE, Secretary presented vote of thanks.
