JAMMU, May 7: On the occasion of Annual Day celebrations at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bantalab, the teachers were awarded by DIG, CRPF and chairman VMC K V Bantalab as chief guest and Tanu Arun Kumar as the guest of honour.
The function commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp amidst chanting of vedic mantras, which was followed by Saraswati Vandana.
For their outstanding performance, the staff members, who were felicitated by the chief guest included Anju Jamwal PRT, Subhash Anand TGT(Art), Piyare Lal Tickoo, L/A and Bhuvneshwari, PGT (Chemistry). They received trophies and the certificates of excellence. Minakshi Talwar, PGT (English) and Meena Dhar, PRT were awarded with the cash prizes by the chairman. V Santhosh Kumar, Principal, KV Bantalab presented welcome address.
