JAMMU, Nov 22: Guru Ravidass Vishwa Mahapeeth national general secretary and British Ravidassia Heritage Indian Branch general secretary, Balbir Ram Rattan, visited Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan Sachidanand and held a meeting with Swami Suchidanand here, today.
During his conversation with Swamiji, Balbir apprised him of the objectives of social organisations working abroad and in India, which are very successfully spreading the teachings and message of Guru Ravidass.
“It gives me immense pleasure and great satisfaction to be part of the organisations dedicated to the service of great Indian saint Guru Ravidass”, Balbir told Swamiji.
Swami Suchidanand shared with Balbir that Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan works to educate the people about the need to strengthen Sanatan Dharama. This organisation also motivates people to learn from the inspiring lives of Hindu gurus.
He said that Guru Ravidass, through his Bhakti, had influenced people and the religious books of other faiths too have mentioned his teachings.
Swami Suchidanand further said that the teachings of ancient Gurus of coordial and peaceful existence, universal brotherhood and respect for other religions are more relevant in the present time and the elders in the families should inspire young ones to learn about the great Saints of India.
Guruji also presented him religious, spiritual and motivational books.
