Jodhamal Junior School organizes 20th prize-giving ceremony

JAMMU, Nov 23: Jodhamal Public School marked a momentous occasion as it celebrated its 20th prize-giving ceremony today.
The chief guest for the event was Yasha Mudgal (Commissioner Secretary, Tourism Department, J&K) while guest of honour was Ankita Kar (Chief Executive Officer, e-Governance, J&K). Adding to the prestige of the event were other distinguished dignitaries Dr Sunil Bhardwaj (MLA Ramnagar) and Bhupinder Kumar (Administrative Secretary, Public Works Department).
The Annual Report for the academic session 2023-24 was eloquently presented by Vice Principal Amita Arora. Trustee Nandan Kuthiala applauded the united efforts of Team Jodhamal in making the event a resounding success, highlighting the theme of “Synergy and Collective Brilliance.” The ceremony commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp, followed by a heartfelt welcome address by the Deputy Head Girl, Samaira Jamwal.
The cultural programme enthralled the audience with a series of vibrant performances. A standout moment of the evening was the play “Ashes to Aspirations (The Healing Hand),” which movingly explored the transformative journey of healing and personal growth.
A spellbinding rendition of the divine manifestation, along with well-choreographed performances like Nrityanjaliand an eclectic orchestra transported the audience through the golden eras of the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s. The event also featured dynamic dances such as the Carnival, Spanish, Emotion, Flashback and Togetherness Dances.
The main awards were received by the School’s Junior Head Boy, Junior Head Girl, Junion Deputy Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl, Academic Prefects, and CCA Prefects. The Annual Sports Trophy was awarded to Enterprise House, the CCA Trophy to Invention House, the Academic Trophy to Invention House, and the Overall Trophy to Invention House.
The celebrations concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by the Deputy Head Boy Aviral Kapoor.
