JAMMU, May 8: Vimal Muni College of Education Ramgarh organized inter class sports meet and a visit to slum area in two sessions, today.
The events were inaugurated by the chairperson, of the college Anu Gupta. In the sports meet 40 students participated in the indoor and out door games. In the indoor games pupil participated in carromboard & chess and in outdoor games volleyball and badminton were played by the students. The winners were adjudged by the judges as 1st, 2nd and 3rd in all the games separately.
In the 2nd session Sunita Kumari (Lect.) alongwith a team visited the slum area in the Ramgarh town and collected the information regarding the life style of the people by interview, interaction and through questionnaire.
Both the sessions were concluded in the college by the principal Dr. S.D. Gupta in presence of staff members and students. He extended thanks to the people of the slum area for their cordial co-operation.
