UDHAMPUR, May 8: KV No-1 Udhampur celebrated its Annual Day with and pomp and show in the School premises, here today.
Major General, Bipin Puri, Commandant at Command Hospital (NC) Udhampur was the chief guest on the occasion, while Anita Puri was the guest of honour. Principals of various Vidyalayas were also present on the occasion.
Melodious Vedic mantra recitation was done during the lighting of the traditional lamp.
The cultural bonanza began with a welcome song and formal welcome extended by Principal, Dr R Prasad.
He presented the Annual report of various activities undergone during session.
Prizes were distributed by the chief guest and guest of honour on the occasion. News Letters of CMP EQUIP, Sports were also released on the occasion.
Various cultural items were presented by the students on the occasion.
Vice Principal, Basanti Khampa presented vote of thanks.
The function was coordinated by Sanjay Purohit, Neeta Moten, Jyotsna Sirohi and Meenakshi.
