JAMMU, Nov 24: Bharat Vikas Parshid (BVP), Shivalik branch Channi Himmat here organized a quiz competition for children of different schools in which six schools participated.
The programme started with the National Anthem and lighting of the lamp by chief guest, Shiv Kumar Sharma, DIG JKS range in the presence of Arun Sharma, NGSC, Shiv Ram, general secretary Prant other dignitaries of BVP Shivalik branch Channi Himmat, Jammu.
H.C Vaid, president BVP Shivalik branch Channi Himmat, Jammu and his team along with Ritesh Kapoor, Director ASN Hr Sec School felicitated the chief guest and other special guests including Sonu Pargal, Dy. Director Sales Tax Dept and Special Invitee, Ritu Mahajan, Additional Secretary School Education Department.
H.C Vaid, president, Ashok Gupta, vice president along with Ashok Khajuria, secretary convened the quiz competition.
Schools and students which remained first in the quiz were Reshma, Pratibha Charak, Pooja and Krish Bhagat of Modern Public School.
The second and third position was maintained by ASN, NSK Public Schools.
The 2nd and 3rd positions were maintained by juniors of ASN, J.S Luthra Academy Channi Himmat Jammu. Proceeding of the programme was conducted by Ashok Khajuria (Secretary) BVP Shevalik Branch Jammu.
Vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Vijay Sharma Media Parmukh, Prant.
Dignitaries who graced the programme were Rakesh Sharma, Treasurer Branch, Sunita Mahajan, finance secretary Prant, Vandana Mani, Anju Bansal, Rakhi, staff members of the schools, students and others.
The programme concluded with National Anthem.
