JAMMU, Nov 27: The second day of the JKUT Archery Championship took place at the Green Field Stadium in Jammu, organized by the Archery Association of Jammu and Kashmir under the banner of the J&K Sports Council.
Anil Sharma, Manager of Green Field Stadium, was the chief guest for the day and presented medals and certificates to the winners. In the Senior Compound category, Hritik Sharma claimed the top spot in the boys’ section, while Sunita secured first place among the girls. In the Junior Compound, Sanidhya emerged as the winner in the boys’ category, and Anjali took the gold in the girls’ section.
In the Sub Junior competition, Mrityunjay won the boys’ category, and Sonia took first place among the girls. The Mini Sub Junior category was won by Mrityunjay.
In the Senior Indian Round, Bhawani dominated in the boys’ section, while Mahnaz emerged as the top performer among the girls. The competition also included events in the 50m and 30m distances, where Bhawani, Vinod Sharma, and Rita Devi earned top positions in their respective categories.
