JAMMU, Nov 29: Army Public School Rakhmuthi celebrated its annual function with grandeur, centered around the theme of heritage. The event was presided over by Principal Shaswati Ghosh, with the General Officer Commanding, 10 Infantry Division, serving as the chief guest, along with other dignitaries.
The school’s courtyard was beautifully decorated with Rangoli, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere. The program began with the lighting of lamps, flower offerings, and Sanskrit shlokas. Principal Shaswati Ghosh presented the annual report, highlighting the school’s activities and achievements over the year.
The cultural performances started with the ‘Swagatham’ dance, evoking a devotional ambiance. Young students showcased their talents with dances like ‘Ek Soch Hai Jagi’ and ‘Dhak Dhak,’ symbolizing the harmony between children and nature. A short English play emphasized the importance of respecting teachers, followed by patriotic plays and group songs that filled the air with national pride.
The event concluded with the chief guest distributing prizes to the school’s top achievers in academics and extracurricular activities, recognizing the students’ hard work and dedication.
