SRINAGAR, May 10: Director School Education Kashmir, Mir Tariq Ali today conducted surprise visit of various schools of Srinagar and Pulwama districts and ordered suspension of 14 for their unauthorized absence from the school.
These included five teachers of Boys High School Natipora, one ZRP and eight ZRC’s of Zonal Education Office Shadimarg.
The Director also visited CEO office Pulwama, ZEO office Pulwama, Boys Higher Secondary School Pulwama, Higher Secondary School Rajpora Pulwama and found that most of the schools were functioning satisfactorily.
The Director said that such surprise inspections would continue to bring in accountability and betterment in the functioning of school education system. He called upon teachers to discharge their duties with honesty and dedication so that the academic environment in the schools is brought up to the higher levels of excellence.
