JAKWS organizes debate competition

JAMMU, May 10: Jammu Asha Kiran Welfare Society (JAKWS) today organized a debate competition on the topic “Save the Girl Child”, here in the premises of Government Girls High School (GGHS), Janipur Colony.
Chairman of the Society, Dr JP Gupta was the chief guest while Headmistress of the School, Raj Rani Sharma chaired the debate competition.
A total of 15 students from GGHS Janipur Colony and Government Middle School (GMS) Janipur, participated in the competition.
Komal Goswami of GMS Janipur won the first prize while Karan Sharma and Gouri Kumari of GGHS, Janipur claimed second and third prizes, respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, the Headmistress appreciated the Society for organizing the debate competition. The chairman of the Society also spoke on the occasion.
