RAJOURI, May 11: Inter-Zonal Tournament for boys and girls under the age category of 17 years organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports concluded at Rajouri and GHSS Lamberi.
On the occasion, Mohammad Ayaz Khan, District Youth Services and Sports Officer presided over the function and awarded winner and runner-up trophies in presence of all ZPEOs.
Final result:
In Kho-Kho, Zone Rajouri beat Zone Kotranka in boys section, while in girls Zone Rajouri crushed Zone Thannamandi.
In Volleyball, Zone Kotranka smashed Zone Rajouri, Zone Kalakote thrashed Zone Dhanesar in boys section, whereas in girls section, Rajouri Zone beat Thannamandi Zone and Zone Dhanesar defeated Zone Sunderbani.
In Kabaddi, Zone Rajouri beat Zone Thannamandi, Zone Kalakote defeated Zone Dhanesar in boys section, while in girls section, Zone Rajouri beat Zone Thannamandi and Zone Nowshera defeated Zone Sunderbani.
In Handball, Zone Nowshera and Zone Rajouri emerged winners.
