Shaurya Int’l School holds Annual Day

JAMMU, Dec 3: Shaurya International School celebrated its Annual Day, Oorja: Vibrant India at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, Jammu University, here today. The event was graced by Rahul Yadav, Mission Director, Holistic Agriculture Development Programme, as the chief guest. Other distinguished guests included Harinder Mahajan, Chairman, School Management Committee, Sahil Mahajan, Vice-Chairman, Trustees and several others, including Uma Gupta, Kusum Gupta, Pooja Mahajan and Shaurya Mahajan.
The celebrations began with a floral homage to the founders of the institution, Late Janak Raj Gupta and Late Sneh Gupta. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp was performed by Rahul Yadav, along with Harinder Mahajan and Sahil Mahajan, marking the start of the event.
Principal Dr. Rajesh Gandral presented the Annual School Report, which highlighted the achievements of both students and the institution. The event’s cultural program, showcasing vibrant dance performances and a school band, captured the essence of India’s diverse culture under the theme “Oorja: Vibrant India.”
The award distribution ceremony followed, with Akanksha House, led by Pallavi Langer and Komal Nanda, winning the Best House award for 2024-2025. In his address, Rahul Yadav encouraged students to embrace their future roles as leaders, while Harinder Mahajan and Sahil Mahajan expressed pride in the school’s achievements. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Head Girl Pranvita Kour.
