JAMMU, Dec 6: Following the recent ban on re-employment, extensions, attachments, and additional charges by the Jammu and Kashmir Government, the All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) has called for urgent measures to address key administrative challenges.
The AIBCU highlighted the need to fill vacant posts in Government departments and educational institutions promptly. The Union emphasized that delays in recruitment have overburdened existing employees and hampered service quality, calling for transparent, merit-based appointments to ensure fair opportunities for all.
The Organization stressed the importance of establishing a structured promotion system. According to the AIBCU, the absence of a fair mechanism has led to stagnation, discouraging deserving employees and limiting their career progression.
The AIBCU also urged the Government to focus on providing employment opportunities to qualified youth from J&K. It underlined that such initiatives would promote inclusivity, social justice, and address rising unemployment in the region.
