Inter Zonal District Level competitions get underway

JAMMU, May 12: Inter Zonal District Level competitions for Under 14 and 17 boys in the disciplines of Kho-Kho, Kabbadi, Volleyball, Wrestling and Cricket gets underway at Green Field and  MA Stadium here.
The competition is being organised as a part of annual calendar of activity of Department of Youth Services and Sports under the supervision of Navin Aggarwal, DG Sports and under the chairmanship of Ved Prakash, Deputy Directory, DYSS.
Today Result:
In Kho-Kho Under 14 boys, Gandhi Nagar Zone beat RS Pura Zone by 8-0 points, Jammu Zone beat Khour Zone by 4-2 points, Bhalwal Zone defeated Chowki Choura by 4-1 points, Dansal Zone crushed Jourian Zone by 4-0 points and Satwari Zone defeated Arnia Zone by 4-3 points.
In Kho-Kho Under 17 boys, Miran Sahib Zone beat Arnia Zone by 11-0 points, Khour Zone beat Dansal Zone by 2-0 points, RS Pura Zone defeated Bishnah Zone by 2-1 points, Satwari Zone smashed Marh Zone by 8-3 points and Jammu Zone beat Gandhi Nagar Zone by 6-3 points.
In Kabbadi Under 14 boys, Chowki Choura Zone beat Jammu Zone by 25-14 points, Akhnoor Zone defeated Bishnah Zone by 39-12 points, Dansal Zone beat Jourian Zone by 23-11 points, RS Pura Zone smashed Khour Zone by 26-11 points, Miran Sahib Zone beat Chowki Choura Zone by 28-8 points and Bhalwal Zone crushed Gandhi Nagar Zone by 25-15 points.
In Kabbadi Under 17 boys quarterfinal, Miran Sahib Zone beat Khour Zone by 25-10 points, Bhalwal Zone defeated Jourian Zone by 38-21 points, Akhnoor Zone smashed Gandhi Nagar Zone by 37-31 points and Chowki Choura Zone beat Bishnah Zone by 37-19 points.
In Volleyball Under 14 boys, Bhalwal Zone beat Satwari Zone by 2-0 sets, Khour Zone beat Miran Sahib Zone by 2-0 sets, Marh Zone beat Jammu Zone by 2-1 sets, Akhnoor beat Bishnah Zone by 2-0 sets.
In Volleyball Under 17 boys, Bhalwal Zone beat Arnia Zone by 2-0 sets, Gandhi Nagar Zone beat Marh Zone by 2-0 sets, Miran Sahib Zone defeated Chowki Choura Zone by 2-1 sets, Jammu Zone defeated RS Pura Zone by 2-0 sets, Jourian Zone beat Satwari Zone by 2-0 sets, Akhnoor Zone smashed Jammu Zone by 2-0.
In Cricket Under 17 boys, Miran Sahib Zone beat Bishnah Zone by 9 wickets.
