JAMMU, May 12: Over 50 passengers were injured when the bus they were traveling in turned turtle near Dabber area, falling under the jurisdiction of Bishnah police station.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02E-8103 was on its way to Jammu from Pindi, tehsil Bishnah when the driver lost control over the steering resulting the vehicle turning turtle on road near Dabbar, causing injuries to all the occupants.
On getting information, police team from Bishnah police station headed by SHO Narinder Singh and locals rushed to the spot and started rescue operation.
All the injured were rushed to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bishnah in police and other vehicles, from where two injured persons were referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for advanced treatment.

A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Bishnah police station and investigation started.
Meanwhile, former Minister Gulchain Singh Charak expressed his concern over the accident and demanded detailed inquiry.
