68th NSG: Jharkhand, Haryana set to face off in U-17 Girls Football final

JAMMU, Dec 9: The 68th National School Games U-17 Girls Football Championship, held at Sainik School Nagrota, has reached its climax with Haryana and Jharkhand securing their spots in the final. The two teams triumphed over their respective semifinal opponents and will now compete for the prestigious title tomorrow.
In a hard-fought first semifinal, Jharkhand edged out Manipur by 1-0, while Haryana proved their dominance by defeating Rajasthan by 3-0 in the second semifinal. Both teams have been in formidable form throughout the tournament, and tomorrow’s final is expected to be a thrilling encounter.
The finals and the hardliner match will be played tomorrow morning at Sainik School Nagrota, while the closing ceremony of the month-long sporting event will take place at the General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, at 3 pm.
Minister for Sports, Satish Sharma, will be the chief guest at the ceremony, joined by other prominent officials.
