SAMBA, Dec 12: Army Public School Samba celebrated its Annual Day today with grandeur and excitement. The event was graced by the Chairman of the school, who presided over the function. The celebration began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chairman and Principal, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the arrival of knowledge.
The cultural program featured a series of vibrant performances, including a traditional Kashmiri Rouf Dance, a lively Dogri Dance and an energetic Bhangra, showcasing India’s diverse cultural heritage. Students from classes I and II impressed the audience with their confidence during modeling performances, while a captivating English drama left everyone spellbound with their acting and creativity.
The event recognized the students’ hard work and achievements, with special awards presented, including the prestigious ‘Student of the Year’ title. Distinguished alumni were also honored for their continued support. Awards for Best House and Academic Achievers were given to outstanding students.
The chief guest applauded the efforts of both students and teachers and emphasized the importance of holistic development. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving the audience inspired by the students’ remarkable performances.
