SIE Jammu organizes painting competition

JAMMU, May 15: The Educational Technology Cell of the State Institute of Education Jammu organized Divisional Level One Day Painting Competition at SIE Jammu, here today. The programme was inaugurated by Director School Education Jammu, Tushar Kanti Sharma.
Mr. Sharma emphasized the need and importance of holding such competition as these are of paramount importance for the development of the personality of the child. Such type of competitions provide a platform to the students for expressing their talent potential freely so that their innate abilities are channelized in a proper manner.
Earlier on, the Joint Director Trainings / Principal, SIE Jammu H R Pakhroo welcome the Director School Education Jammu and emphasized the need of holding such programmes infuture for the betterment of the student community.
The programme was co-ordinated by Rajinder Kumar R.O., Parveen Akhter, Master I/C E.T.Cell and Akash Khajuria, Teacher acted as Associate Co-ordinator.
Tarun Sharma, HSS (B) Kishtwar bagged the first prize, while Raksha Devi of GHS Udhampur got the second prize and the third prize went to Rajni Devi of GHS Lagote other participants were awarded the certificates of participation. Bushan Kesar, Subash Anand and Mohd Akram Khan acted as the Judges for the event/competition.
