JAMMU, May 15: The annual investiture ceremony of students council of Alexander Memorial School, Residency Road, Jammu was held in the school campus, today.
Kiran Wattal, Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation was the chief guest and presented presbyter-in-charge St Paul’s Church, Jammu, I D Soni, State State Commissioner Bharat Scouts and senior members of the managing committee also graced the occasion.
The principal, Esther William along rev Udai Singh welcome the chief guest and presented a bouquet to him. The chief guest hoisted the National Flag and house flag to head boy, head girl and the house captains respectively and took salute at the march pass. It was followed by mass PT display by the junior students.
The chief guest in his brief speech urged all the council members to perform the duties assigned to them whole-heartedly and to uphold the values of values of honesty, integrity and loyalty as vital qualities for positions of responsibility and dignity.
S K Munshi, co-ordinator presented the vote of thanks and the colourful programme came to end with school band playing the National Anthem.
