JAMMU, May 15: Provincial Clerks Association (PCA), Jammu Province, has demanded immediate removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre and the release of 10% DA installment due since January 2014 in favour of State employees and pensioners.
In a meeting of the Association held here, PCA president, Krishan Singh demanded the Government to pay remaining amount of 6th CPC arrears in one go and raising monthly medical allowance from existing Rs 300 to Rs 1000 in favour of State employees and pensioners.
The meeting also demanded reorganization of clerical cadre by creating posts of administrative officers or private secretaries in all provincial heads of the departments, SOs or senior stenographers in district level offices and head assistants or junior stenographers in all other offices on rational basis.
The PCA president sought setting up of training institutes at district headquarters to impart training to clerical cadre so as to improve office working on modern lines.
He also called upon all clerical cadre employees to rally around ALL J&K Low Paid Employees Federation headed by Abdul Majid Khan for getting all their outstanding grievances redressed expeditiously.
