JAMMU, Dec 24: R N Tagore Higher Secondary School, Jammu, organized ‘RN Mathomania 2024-25,’ a mathematics exhibition showcasing the creativity and innovation of students from Classes 5th to 12th.
The event featured a variety of projects, including working models, static displays, charts, and illustrations, covering topics like Trigonometry, Geometry, Algebra, Polynomials, and Circles. Students demonstrated their understanding of mathematical principles through shape constructions, mental calculations and diagrams, while also highlighting the life histories of renowned mathematicians.
The exhibition was inaugurated by chief guest Narinder Singh, Senior Accounts Officer, along with special guests Sanjeev Sharma and Rita Sharma, Senior Lecturers in Mathematics. Principal Dr. Hitesh Mahajan delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the school’s vision to foster innovation in Science and Mathematics.
Narinder Singh commended the students and teachers for their efforts in encouraging innovation. Special guests provided constructive feedback and motivated the students to continue excelling. Other prominent figures, including Rameshwar Singh, President of the Private School Coordination Committee, and Surjeet Choudhary, former Corporator, attended the event and praised the students’ hard work.
